Paige and I did a road ride today from the house. We biked out to the Morning Star Grocery near Oak Flats on NM 337. I haven’t been on this route in a long time, almost 2 years! I forgot how nice it is to ride out here. The traffic was surprisingly low for the ride, which made things quite peaceful. The clouds were assembling for an afternoon thunderstorm, so the temperature was just perfect. Couldn’t have asked for a better day.
Yesterday was lots of road riding in and around the neighborhood with climbs, and lots of them. La Luz, Tierra Monte Dr and all of its fingers, La Cueva Rd, Tramway Rd to the Tram, Cedar Hill, short climbs all the way to Simms Park Rd, drop down ad do Simms Park, then back through the Hood. If you road ride, you know what I’m talking about. Fun!! And it’s all in my “backyard”.

Ann and I saw you both coming down 14 and we thought at first you were our friend Monique (you could be twins!), till we drove by you and noticed the bwr colors flying. That’s definitely a fun ride. I haven’t done it since Spring.
How cool, I’ll have to meet Monique sometime. Maybe we are twins…separated at birth. ;o)
